Vice President of Sales
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Sales to lead branded commercial efforts within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment. This individual will bring a balance of relationship-driven sales leadership and operational rigor, with the ability to drive revenue, expand key partnerships, and build scalable processes. The ideal candidate thrives in entrepreneurial settings, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and has a strong pulse on the branded CPG landscape.
While remote work is supported, candidates based in or near McMinnville, Oregon are preferred. This role requires regular travel to McMinnville and periodic international travel.
Vice President of Sales Responsibilities
- Lead and grow branded sales efforts, driving new business development and expansion across existing customer accounts.
- Own revenue performance, including forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization to support profitable growth.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, and Finance to align product development and delivery with customer needs.
- Manage and develop a small sales team, providing coaching, direction, and performance accountability.
Vice President of Sales Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Experience within food manufacturing, branded products, or consumer packaged goods strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing key accounts and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience with forecasting, pricing, and margin management.
- Ability to travel as needed, including domestic travel and occasional international travel.
Salary: $150K-$175K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
