Territory Sales Manager (Midwest Region)
Our client is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Territory Sales Manager to accelerate growth across a large and expanding Midwest territory. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships within the foodservice, beverage, restaurant supply, and distribution industries. The ideal candidate thrives in a field-based environment, enjoys a high degree of autonomy, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing sales organization with significant long-term advancement potential.

This role is open to applicants located in the Mid-Western US region.

Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, territory planning, and relationship-building with distributors, dealers, and industry partners.
  • Build and expand relationships with distributor buyers and key decision-makers to increase product adoption and territory revenue.
  • Manage a large geographic territory, conducting regular customer visits, presentations, and business reviews throughout the region.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify customer challenges, recommend solutions, and create long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, forecast sales activity, and track customer engagement through Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, leadership, and vendor partners to capitalize on lead generation efforts and market opportunities.
  • Represent a broad portfolio of foodservice, beverage, coffee, tea, restaurant supply, and operational products within the hospitality and foodservice industry.
  • Negotiate pricing, support promotional initiatives, and develop account growth strategies that drive revenue and customer retention.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities within the territory.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales goals while contributing to the continued expansion of the sales organization.

Territory Sales Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience.
  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience within foodservice distribution, restaurant supply, beverage, coffee, tea, specialty beverage products, or related industries.
  • Proven success developing new business and growing revenue within a hunter-oriented sales environment.
  • Experience selling through distribution channels and working directly with distributor buyers and customer decision-makers.
  • Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience managing pipelines, forecasts, customer relationships, and sales reporting.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice operations, beverage programs, restaurant supply, hospitality, or distribution-based sales models.
  • Experience representing products such as coffee, tea, specialty beverages, syrups, non-alcoholic beverage solutions, restaurant equipment, kitchen supplies, or related product categories preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to manage a large territory independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory.

Salary: $115K-$120K/year. + Bonus. (DOE)
