Strategic Program Manager
Our client is seeking a Strategic Program Manager to lead complex, high-visibility initiatives that support long-term business growth and cross-functional execution. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels at bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving large-scale programs from planning through delivery. The successful candidate will combine strong program management expertise with executive communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Strategic Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of complex strategic initiatives spanning multiple business functions, including product, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams by facilitating meetings, tracking dependencies, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring accountability for key outcomes.
  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Create executive-ready presentations, status updates, summaries, and recommendations that clearly communicate program progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Establish effective program governance practices and introduce new tools, processes, and frameworks that improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Monitor program performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum and achieve business objectives.
  • Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear action plans and strategic insights for leadership teams.

Strategic Program Manager Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic program management, consulting, business operations, or related leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting large-scale initiatives within Fortune 500 organizations and/or top-tier consulting firms.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence, present recommendations, and build consensus across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to develop program schedules, manage dependencies, drive accountability, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and maintain forward progress on key initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Airtable or similar program management platforms preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience within retail, consumer products, apparel, footwear, or related industries is highly desirable.

Compensation: Up to $62.68/hr. (DOE)
