Sr. Accountant
Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team in the Portland area. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a longstanding company that has a great reputation in the healthcare industry!

This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to occasionally commute to offices in Portland, Oregon.

Sr. Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages.
• Participate in presenting financial statements to board members and leadership. 
• Support audit requests and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Prepare general ledger journal entries.
• Monthly account reconciliations for complex accounts.
• Review and analyze data to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform trend and data analysis.
• Support AP and cash activities, including reviewing and coding invoices.

Sr. Accountant Qualifications 

• 3 years’ accounting and GAAP experience; Public accounting, non-profit, and/or healthcare experience a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; CPA a plus.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and analysis highly preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex data with strong research and analytical skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $40-$46/hr. (DOE)
