Senior Accountant
Our Portland area client is looking for a driven Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to build upon your career in the public sector.

This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule and requires qualified candidates to commute weekly to offices near Portland, Oregon.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Ensure month-end close is completed accurately and timely. 
• Perform variance analysis and prepare financial statements and reports. 
• Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations.
• Process AR entries, billing, and review for discrepancies. 
• Support capital assets and ad-hoc analysis.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree; CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting including financial statement preparation and analysis. 
• Well-versed in GAAP required.
• Advanced Excel with proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary: $80k-$87,500 (DOE)
