Cost Accountant
Our Portland area client seeks a full-time Cost Accountant to join their onsite team! With innovation and dependability behind their products, this company continues to be a leader in its industry.

Cost Accountant Responsibilities

• Handle inventory valuation, margin reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory. 
• Perform job cost, material and labor cost, and variance analysis.
• Complete inventory reconciliations. 
• Prepare journal entries for sales, material and labor costs, and WIP.
• Provide system implementation and process improvement support. 
• Prepare metrics and present findings to managers. 

Cost Accountant Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting. 
• 3 years of related inventory and cost accounting experience.
• Manufacturing or similar industry experience a plus.
• Proficiency with SAP, MS Access, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. 
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and organized. 
• Team player.

Salary: $90k-$105k (DOE)
