Senior Demand Planner
Our client is seeking a data-driven and collaborative Senior Demand Planner to support a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory strategies, and partnering cross-functionally to support seasonal planning efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, thrives under pressure, and can quickly step in to make an immediate impact.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Demand Planner Responsibilities

• Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts using advanced analytical and statistical modeling techniques to support business and inventory planning.
• Analyze historical sales, market trends, promotional activity, and product lifecycle data to inform short- and long-term demand planning decisions.
• Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with business strategies and operational plans.
• Support seasonal planning cycles by contributing to stock planning, sales projections, and future demand scenarios.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify variances, and continuously refine models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Leverage data tools and systems to validate forecasts, track demand patterns, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Provide clear documentation, reporting, and communication to ensure alignment across teams and leadership.
• Assist in mentoring or guiding less experienced team members within demand planning best practices as needed.

Senior Demand Planner Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, analysis, and forecasting functions.
• Proven hands-on experience building and managing demand forecasts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple competing demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar planning tools is highly preferred.
• Background in consumer products, retail, or a comparable industry is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.

Compensation: Up to $47.89/hr. (DOE)
