.NET Developer
Our client is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join a collaborative technology team supporting the continued enhancement of business-critical applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on full-stack developer who enjoys executing well-defined technical work, building scalable solutions, and contributing across both front-end and back-end development efforts in a modern Microsoft environment.

This role is fully remote. Applicants located on the West Coast are preferred.

.NET Developer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET 8, JavaScript, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Contribute across the full application stack, including front-end user interface development, back-end business logic, and database components.
• Build, enhance, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support application functionality and performance.
• Execute against a defined backlog of application enhancements, feature updates, and technical improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and development team members to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement timely bug fixes and performance improvements.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain coding standards, software quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Develop and execute testing efforts to ensure application stability, reliability, and functional accuracy.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, issue tracking, and development workflow management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to application functionality, development processes, and support needs.
• Contribute ideas that improve engineering efficiency, software quality, and team development practices.

.NET Developer Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a Microsoft technology environment.
• Strong hands-on development experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, and modern web application development.
• Full-stack development experience spanning front-end application development, back-end services, and database integration.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and experience building responsive, user-facing application components.
• Strong SQL experience, including database development, query optimization, and relational database concepts.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, issue tracking, and development lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently execute technical work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications is highly preferred.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
