Home Lending Post-Closing Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Home Lending Post-Closing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. This individual brings strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless post-closing process. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining regulatory excellence and a strong customer experience.
This role is on-site in Tigard, Oregon or Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Home Lending Post-Closing Specialist Responsibilities
- Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with investor and regulatory requirements prior to delivery.
- Coordinate with funding, secondary, and cross-functional teams to resolve trailing conditions and facilitate timely loan delivery.
- Manage post-closing processes including document imaging, loan boarding, mortgage insurance activation, and investor submissions.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support training or mentorship of team members as needed.
Home Lending Post-Closing Specialist Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in mortgage post-closing, with prior experience in lending, processing, funding, title, or escrow environments.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, post-closing workflows, and investor delivery requirements.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance standards within the banking or financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, loan origination systems, and data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Compensation: $24-$25/hr. (DOE)
