Administrative Assistant
Our non-profit client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant who thrives in a collaborative environment. This individual will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while supporting multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a dependable self-starter who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and contributes to a well-run, service-oriented department. Experience in education, commitment to social justice, or passion for science is a plus!
This role is a hybrid model in Oregon City, Oregon with a minimum of 3x per week in-office.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Manage calendaring, scheduling, and coordination for departmental leadership and faculty.
- Provide project support by organizing documents, maintaining digital filing systems, and ensuring accuracy of records and materials.
- Support departmental events and training sessions, including registration tracking and participant communication.
- Support operational processes such as textbook ordering, student evaluations, and general data entry.
- Assist with administrative and financial tasks, including tracking receipts, maintaining records, and supporting day-to-day office functions.
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
- 1 or more years of administrative or executive support experience, preferably supporting multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize processes and manage competing priorities independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills within a professional office environment.
- Experience in an educational setting is preferred; Associate’s degree is a plus.
Compensation: $24/hr.
