Sales Training Specialist
Our client is seeking a Sales Training Specialist to support the development and delivery of scalable, on-demand sales education programs. This role sits within a collaborative marketing operations environment and focuses on creating engaging, self-guided learning experiences that improve sales readiness and performance. The ideal candidate brings a blend of instructional design expertise, project management discipline, and strong communication skills to drive training initiatives from concept through launch.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah.

Sales Training Specialist Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive, self-paced sales training modules using e-learning tools, translating business requirements into engaging learning experiences.
  • Manage multiple training development projects from intake through launch, including scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content, facilitate review cycles, and incorporate feedback into finalized training materials.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and resource needs to keep deliverables on track.
  • Publish and maintain training content within learning management systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and organization.
  • Maintain structured documentation of training assets, project files, and processes to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide clear and concise status updates on project progress, launch readiness, and any blockers requiring escalation.
  • Support multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritizing deliverables based on business impact and deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices for e-learning development and learner experience.
  • Assist with live training sessions and webinars as needed, including technical setup, troubleshooting, and participant support.

Sales Training Specialist Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in sales training development, instructional design, or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience creating on-demand learning content such as modules, courses, or role-based learning paths.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools, including strong experience with Articulate 360.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks, including knowledge of project lifecycle concepts.
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and content publishing workflows; experience with sales enablement platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and content-related challenges in training development environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile or fast-paced, cross-functional environments preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools; experience with enterprise workflow tools is a plus.
