Accounts Payable Specialist
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who is organized, proactive, and confident navigating a fast-paced accounting environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong procure-to-pay expertise, sound judgment, and the communication skills to partner effectively with internal teams while helping reinforce efficient and consistent AP processes.

This role is fully remote.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

• Monitor the AP inbox, review invoices, and ensure timely entry into the accounting system.
• Perform and troubleshoot three-way matching between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Research and resolve missing or incomplete purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Partner with Procurement and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice issues and reinforce established purchasing procedures.
• Identify procure-to-pay workflow challenges and contribute to process improvements.

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience with the ability to work independently with minimal training.
• Strong experience with purchase orders, three-way matching, and procure-to-pay processes.
• Experience using NetSuite is strongly preferred; Sage Intacct experience is also relevant.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and resolve exceptions efficiently.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills, with the confidence to work proactively with internal teams to ensure processes are followed.

Compensation: $21-$24/hr. (DOE)
