Producer Services Specialist
Our client is seeking a Producer Services Specialist to support producer licensing, compliance, contracting, and compensation activities within a fast-paced insurance environment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who can evaluate information, make sound decisions when circumstances are not always clear, and provide responsive service through strong written communication and collaboration.

This role is fully remote.

Producer Services Specialist Responsibilities

• Review and process producer licensing, contracting, compliance, and compensation transactions, ensuring information is accurate and completed within established timelines.
• Evaluate producer applications and related documentation for compliance with established requirements, escalating exceptions or nonstandard compensation arrangements as appropriate.
• Serve as an initial point of contact for producer-related questions, providing timely and accurate support through email and phone communication.
• Analyze producer and compensation data across multiple systems to identify discrepancies, determine appropriate next steps, and support accurate processing.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contracting, compliance, compensation, and administrative issues through clear communication and problem resolution.
• Support the setup and processing of new business while managing a high volume of time-sensitive requests and competing priorities.
• Assist with onboarding and cross-training team members on relevant processes, procedures, and systems.
• Participate in special projects and identify opportunities to improve workflows, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Producer Services Specialist Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related coursework in insurance, risk management, or a similar discipline preferred.
• 0–4 years of related experience in insurance, contracts, accounting, customer service, compliance, or a comparable business operations environment.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate information, manage ambiguity, and determine appropriate courses of action.
• Excellent written communication and customer service skills, including the ability to compose clear emails, document detailed notes, and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to producer licensing, compliance, contracts, and compensation.
• Mathematical aptitude with the ability to review and calculate commission or compensation arrangements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through while managing multiple transactions and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Previous insurance industry experience preferred.
• FLMI, ACS, or related insurance industry certification preferred.
