This role requires deep eDiscovery expertise, significant hands-on experience with Relativity and/or RelativityOne, and the ability to guide large matters from initial data collection through review, analytics, production, and closeout. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with polished client communication, team leadership, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.

This role is fully remote. Eastern time zone working hours are required.

Client Services Senior Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead complex eDiscovery matters across the full EDRM lifecycle, including data collection, processing, review, analytics, production, quality control, and post-production activities.
  • Manage large-scale litigation, investigation, regulatory, and compliance engagements, coordinating timelines, resources, deliverables, risks, and competing priorities across multiple matters.
  • Serve as a trusted client advisor, recommending defensible eDiscovery strategies related to data reduction, review optimization, analytics, technology-assisted review, AI-enabled workflows, and cost management.
  • Oversee Relativity and/or RelativityOne workflows, including searches, analytics, review configuration, processing, productions, imports/exports, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead the implementation and use of advanced review technologies, including Active Learning/TAR, generative AI, document summarization, privilege identification, and other AI-assisted eDiscovery workflows.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams of project managers, analysts, review professionals, technical specialists, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, escalation procedures, risk mitigation strategies, and resource plans while proactively identifying and resolving potential delivery issues.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control and defensibility standards for processing, review, productions, validation, sampling, and related project workflows.
  • Lead client meetings, status calls, technical discussions, and executive-level communications, translating complex technical information into clear recommendations for varied audiences.
  • Manage project financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, invoice review, resource utilization, and ongoing attention to project efficiency and profitability.
  • Coach and develop project team members through delegation, feedback, performance management, training, and ongoing guidance while fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardize best practices, strengthen controls, and increase the efficiency and quality of client delivery.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive legal, regulatory, client, and project information.
  • Adapt to changing project demands and work additional hours as needed to support deadlines and client requirements.

Client Services Senior Project Manager Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive senior-level project management and eDiscovery experience managing complex matters across the full EDRM lifecycle.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Relativity and/or RelativityOne, including review workflows, processing, productions, searching, analytics, Active Learning, and related platform functionality.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale litigation, investigations, regulatory responses, compliance matters, or other complex eDiscovery engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery methodologies, defensible workflows, quality control practices, data processing, review strategies, analytics, and production requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and enterprise clients while coordinating cross-functional legal, technical, and operational teams.
  • Experience advising clients on eDiscovery strategy, including review optimization, analytics, data reduction, defensibility, technology selection, and workflow design.
  • Practical experience with AI-enabled eDiscovery technologies, such as generative AI review tools, Relativity aiR, Active Learning/TAR, document summarization, privilege analysis, or similar solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of common enterprise and cloud-based data sources, such as Microsoft 365, email, collaboration platforms, document repositories, mobile data, structured data, and file-system collections.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery data formats, metadata, load files, processing specifications, production requirements, and validation methodologies.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication, consulting, presentation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching, delegating to, and developing project team members.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other technology-intensive business applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience preferred; advanced education such as a JD or MBA is a plus.
  • PMP, Relativity, eDiscovery, or related professional certifications are preferred.
