OnBase Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced OnBase Engineer to develop and enhance enterprise document management and application integration solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep OnBase expertise, a strong C# development background, and extensive experience building APIs and integrations within complex environments while collaborating effectively across technical teams.

This role is fully remote.

OnBase Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance OnBase solutions and integration components that connect enterprise applications, document management platforms, and supporting systems.
• Build and maintain APIs, plug-ins, messaging components, business rules, webhooks, secure file transfers, and other application integration services.
• Develop solutions in alignment with established integration architecture, technical standards, and guidance from solution architecture and engineering leadership.
• Estimate development efforts for new functionality, application enhancements, integrations, and other assigned technical work.
• Create and execute unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects identified throughout development and testing.
• Develop and maintain document capture, processing, workflow, and content management functionality using OnBase and related technologies.
• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, QA, and other project workstreams to coordinate dependencies and deliver integrated solutions.
• Support multiple concurrent development efforts while maintaining high standards for code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

OnBase Engineer Qualifications

• Previous hands-on OnBase development experience, including experience with OnBase Capture Process Designer.
• 10+ years of programming experience using C#, Visual Basic, and/or related C-family programming languages.
• 5+ years of application integration development experience involving APIs, webhooks, secure file transfer protocols, messaging, or similar integration technologies.
• 5+ years of API development experience with strong knowledge of RESTful concepts, OpenAPI, Swagger, and JSON.
• 5+ years of experience working with technologies such as SQL, XML, scripting languages, and modern integrated development environments.
• Experience developing document management, document generation, document conditioning, capture, and workflow solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and independently test and validate developed functionality.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively across multiple technical teams and workstreams.
• Experience with xPressions, K2, and/or Azure is preferred.
