IT Project Manager
Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale technology initiative supporting enterprise application and system integration efforts. This role will provide day-to-day project leadership, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive communicator with strong project management expertise and the ability to drive successful outcomes across multiple teams.
This role is fully remote. PST working hours are required.
IT Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project management activities for a complex enterprise technology initiative, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
- Facilitate project team meetings, design sessions, and cross-functional collaboration to support project execution and decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, budgets, forecasts, organizational documentation, and risk registers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide clear, consistent project updates to stakeholders and project team members in accordance with established communication plans.
- Coordinate project documentation and ensure lifecycle documentation is completed and maintained in alignment with organizational standards.
- Support project activities related to system integrations, requirements clarification, testing coordination, issue resolution, and production readiness.
- Partner with technical teams supporting enterprise applications and integration efforts to help drive successful project delivery.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships while proactively identifying risks, tracking action items, and supporting issue resolution.
IT Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise technology or IT initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience supporting projects involving application integrations, testing, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, or similar project collaboration and documentation tools is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience supporting operations-focused projects within the utility industry is a plus.
Compensation: Up to $65/hr. (DOE)
