Product Line Manager
Our client is seeking a Product Line Manager to lead global training apparel initiatives through the product creation lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver consumer-right products that align with business objectives and marketplace opportunities. This individual will serve as a key decision-maker, balancing strategic thinking with strong execution skills while influencing partners across merchandising, design, development, planning, and operations. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, consumer-focused, and experienced in managing complex product portfolios within a global apparel environment.
This role is on-site in Beaverton, Oregon.
Product Line Manager Responsibilities
- Lead global training apparel product initiatives from concept through commercialization, ensuring products meet consumer, marketplace, and business objectives.
- Drive product line strategies, assortment planning, and seasonal product decisions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Serve as a key decision-maker throughout the product creation process, helping teams navigate tradeoffs, priorities, and timeline challenges.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining alignment to product calendars, milestones, and launch deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, design, development, sourcing, and planning teams to bring products to market successfully.
- Analyze consumer insights, marketplace trends, and performance data to inform product recommendations and future opportunities.
- Facilitate communication across large, matrixed teams to ensure clarity, accountability, and efficient execution.
- Create and deliver presentations, product reviews, and business updates for leadership and key stakeholders.
Product Line Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in global product merchandising, product line management, or apparel product creation.
- Experience supporting global training apparel or performance apparel product categories.
- Demonstrated success working across highly cross-functional organizations and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of apparel product creation processes, merchandising principles, and seasonal planning cycles.
- Advanced proficiency with presentation, spreadsheet, and collaborative planning tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience within a large consumer products, apparel, footwear, or sporting goods organization is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise merchandising, assortment planning, or product lifecycle management systems is a plus.
- Personal interest in training, fitness, or athletic performance products is highly desirable.
Compensation: Up to $56/hr. (DOE)
