Project Manager, Project Delivery Services
Our client is seeking a Project Manager, Project Delivery Services to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives that support strategic business objectives and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a proactive project leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can bring structure to ambiguity, and excels at aligning stakeholders, resources, and timelines to deliver successful outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical project management expertise with excellent communication, business partnership, and change leadership skills.
This role is based in Vancouver, Washington.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional technology projects, managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Partner with business stakeholders, leadership teams, and external vendors to define project objectives, gather requirements, establish milestones, and align delivery strategies with broader business priorities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, schedules, scope definitions, implementation roadmaps, communication plans, and status reporting using standardized project management methodologies and tools.
- Proactively identify project risks, roadblocks, and competing priorities, driving issue resolution and escalation strategies while balancing stakeholder needs and business objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and decision-making discussions to maintain momentum, clarify ownership, and ensure timely delivery across geographically dispersed teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable communication for business stakeholders, leadership, and non-technical audiences.
- Support organizational change efforts related to project implementations, helping teams prepare for transitions, adoption, and process improvements.
- Coach project contributors and cross-functional partners on project expectations, accountability, timelines, and best practices to improve overall delivery effectiveness.
- Produce executive-level project updates highlighting progress, accomplishments, key decisions, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct project closeout activities including documentation archival, post-implementation reporting, stakeholder feedback collection, and lessons learned analysis to support continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and solutions-oriented project environment that promotes accountability, transparency, and strong team engagement.
Project Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing software or business technology projects in complex, cross-functional corporate environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience leading enterprise software implementation projects, with exposure to HR systems, HCM platforms, ERP implementations, accounting systems, or other business-critical applications strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining strong attention to timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong experience building project structure from ambiguous business needs and transforming concepts into clearly defined execution plans.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including senior leadership, while building collaborative business partnerships.
- Strong facilitation, leadership, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities and drive consensus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting project updates to executive audiences and translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and broader Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
- PMP, Six Sigma, or other formal project management certification strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential business information.
