Vice President of Operations
Our client is seeking a decisive, people-first Vice President of Operations who can unify teams, elevate leadership capability, and drive consistent execution across a complex manufacturing environment. This individual will bring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with a proven ability to build high-performing teams and create alignment across critical operational functions. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, leads with accountability, and can quickly step in to stabilize and strengthen operations.

This role is on-site in McMinnville, Oregon.

Vice President of Operations Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership across core operational functions, including production, safety, maintenance, sanitation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and long-term capability.
  • Translate organizational strategy into clear operational priorities, ensuring alignment and consistent execution across teams.
  • Drive performance through key metrics focused on productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Lead and champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support growth initiatives, including capacity planning, operational scaling, and capital projects.
  • Establish and reinforce a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to improve decision-making, communication, and execution across the business.

Vice President of Operations Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations within manufacturing or a similarly complex, regulated environment.
  • Proven success building and leading high-performing teams, with a strong focus on leadership development and organizational alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, implement structure, and drive measurable results.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Experience overseeing multiple operational functions and leading through direct reports at the leadership level.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in fast-paced or evolving environments.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in food or consumer goods manufacturing is preferred, but not required for candidates with exceptional leadership backgrounds.

Salary: $225K-$250K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
