Senior Footwear Designer
Our client is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Senior Footwear Designer who thrives at the intersection of performance and style. This individual brings a strong design point of view, deep understanding of athlete needs, and the ability to translate cultural insights into innovative product solutions. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can drive design excellence while mentoring others and contributing to a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Footwear Designer Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of performance footwear across multiple sport categories, including global football, American football, baseball, training, and golf.
• Translate athlete insights, consumer trends, and cultural influences into innovative, style-driven product concepts.
• Create detailed design solutions from concept through execution, including sketches, renderings, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, development, and marketing teams to bring products to market.
• Mentor and guide junior designers while contributing to a strong, collaborative team culture and creative process.

Senior Footwear Designer Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in footwear design, with a strong focus on performance and technical product creation.
• Proven ability to blend sport performance with streetwear-inspired design and storytelling.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design thinking, technical execution, and a clear connection from concept to final product.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with experience creating tech packs and 2D technical drawings.
• Experience working across multiple product categories; cleated or golf footwear experience and knowledge of athlete-product interaction are a plus.

Compensation: Up to $65.33/hr. (DOE)
