Diesel Service Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and values being part of a dependable, team-oriented environment. This role is on-site in Farmington, Missouri.

Diesel Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel and heavy-duty vehicles in alignment with manufacturer and company standards.
• Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Complete work orders, documentation, and inspections with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.

Diesel Service Technician Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a truck dealership or heavy-duty service environment.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, including systems from major manufacturers such as Cummins or Detroit Diesel.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific) are strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a shop environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL and experience in flat-rate or commission-based environments are preferred.
