Full Stack Developer
Our client is a leading management system provider for independent insurance agencies and recently rebuilt their desktop/enterprise software into a SaaS Platform facilitating billions of API calls each year.

This role is fully remote.

Full Stack Developer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable application components across backend services and supporting frontend layers, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead and contribute to greenfield development efforts, including architectural design, implementation, and iterative enhancement of new systems.
• Build and support high-availability services and APIs that operate in high-traffic, production environments.
• Write well-structured, testable code and participate in peer reviews, defect resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate business and product requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members through design discussions, knowledge sharing, and code reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support operational activities, including troubleshooting and incident response.
• Contribute to longer-term technical planning by evaluating tools, patterns, and technologies based on practical value and organizational needs.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support development, deployment, and ongoing system ownership.

Full Stack Developer Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including building and supporting production applications.
• 5+ years of experience developing backend systems using C# and modern .NET frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience designing and consuming APIs, background services, and distributed system components.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases in high-volume environments, including performance-focused query and schema design.
• Proven experience contributing beyond basic web or API development, such as system design, scalability, reliability, or operational support.
• Experience supporting systems that operate at meaningful scale, including high availability and sustained production traffic.
• Working knowledge of modern frontend development concepts and the ability to contribute across the stack as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach to engineering decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary: $150K/year. (DOE)
