Healthcare Delivery Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Healthcare Delivery Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that support healthcare programs, operational improvements, and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is a confident and organized leader who can navigate competing priorities, influence stakeholders at multiple levels, and translate business needs into well-executed project plans while maintaining strong alignment between operational and technical teams.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, or North Dakota. PST working hours are required.

Healthcare Delivery Manager Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex healthcare projects from planning through implementation, managing scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Develop and execute project plans while coordinating interconnected initiatives and ensuring work remains aligned with broader business and portfolio objectives.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional project teams by assigning responsibilities, establishing priorities, monitoring milestones, and driving accountability for timely delivery.
• Partner closely with business, operational, and technology stakeholders to ensure strategic objectives, processes, and technical solutions remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project meetings, resolve obstacles, manage competing priorities, and drive decisions needed to maintain project momentum.
• Communicate project progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations clearly to leadership, project teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate business needs, operational challenges, and project impacts to identify solutions and recommend process, procedural, or organizational improvements.
• Oversee project documentation, including work plans, status reporting, business cases, implementation materials, data analysis, and outcome reporting.
• Support portfolio planning and prioritization by balancing business value, resource needs, dependencies, and established project management practices.
• Coordinate implementation activities with stakeholders across the organization and, when applicable, external partners, providers, consultants, or regulatory entities.
• Promote effective change implementation by ensuring new processes, procedures, and operational requirements are documented and communicated appropriately.

Healthcare Delivery Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Approximately 8 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration, project/program management, delivery management, or a related field, including at least 2 years managing healthcare-focused projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Strong project management capabilities across scope, scheduling, budgeting, risk and issue management, documentation, implementation, and status reporting.
• Proven ability to lead and influence project teams without relying solely on direct reporting relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues, develop practical recommendations, and drive solutions through implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, operational stakeholders, and external partners.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects within established timelines.
• Ability to negotiate, facilitate decisions, and resolve project or team challenges with diplomacy and sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management, process mapping, documentation, and collaboration tools.
• Experience developing project documentation, reports, business cases, procedures, or executive-level project communications.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours, with flexibility for occasional work outside standard business hours and travel as needed.
