Director of Finance
Our client is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Finance who can translate complex business initiatives into clear financial insights. This leader thrives in collaborative, fast-moving environments and brings a strong blend of analytical depth, advisory capability, and executive presence. The ideal candidate excels at guiding diverse stakeholders, shaping financial strategy, and ensuring accurate value delivery across transformational programs particularly within the healthcare landscape.
This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.
Director of Finance Responsibilities
- Evaluate business initiatives to determine program economics, financial impacts, and value realization.
- Partner with initiative owners and workstream leads to define KPIs, refine assumptions, and guide financial modeling.
- Represent Finance within transformation workstreams, serving as a liaison across Finance, business leaders, and TMO.
- Lead process improvements and establish reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance metrics for initiative tracking.
- Provide strategic counsel to Finance leadership and support organizational planning, occasionally serving as a delegate in TMO processes.
Director of Finance Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance experience including business planning, financial impact analysis, and corporate structure familiarity.
- Significant experience in healthcare or managed care, with the ability to apply industry-specific financial insights to strategic initiatives.
- Leadership background with experience guiding teams, coaching stakeholders, and influencing cross-functional decision-making.
- Advanced financial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
Compensation: $72-$90/hr. (DOE)
