Staff Accountant (GL, AP & Expense)
Our client is seeking a detail-driven Staff Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys bringing order, clarity, and consistency to financial operations. This role is perfect for a collaborative problem-solver who takes pride in improving processes and supporting a growing finance function.

This role is fully remote. Candidates must be located on the West Coast.

Staff Accountant (GL, AP & Expense) Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable processing end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
• Review and process employee expenses and travel submissions through Expensify/Navan.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits, documentation, and compliance needs.
• Assist with process improvements and scaling initiatives across GL, AP, and expense workflows.

Staff Accountant (GL, AP & Expense) Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in GL, AP, and expense accounting within a technology or high-growth environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4Hana, Bill.com, Expensify, and Navan.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
• Proven ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: Up to $30-$40/hr. (DOE)
