Apparel Graphic Designer 
Our client is seeking an Apparel Graphic Designer to create innovative visual concepts and storytelling across a diverse portfolio of accessory and lifestyle products. This role will blend creative vision, strategic thinking, and technical execution to develop graphics that strengthen consumer engagement and elevate the overall product experience. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative designer with a strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, typography, prints, patterns, and concept development, along with the ability to bring ideas from inspiration through production.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must work PST hours.

Apparel Graphic Designer Responsibilities

  • Develop original graphic concepts, visual identities, and creative narratives across a variety of accessory and lifestyle product categories.
  • Create mood boards, concept presentations, and storytelling tools that communicate design direction and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Design graphics, prints, patterns, typography, and visual elements that align with seasonal themes and consumer insights.
  • Translate research, trend analysis, and cultural insights into compelling product graphics and consumer-focused storytelling.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, development, and design teams throughout the product creation process.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork, technical files, and schematic packages for manufacturing partners and vendors.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately executed throughout development and production.
  • Present creative concepts and design solutions to project teams and leadership groups.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing creativity, timelines, and business objectives.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives by exploring new visual approaches, materials, applications, and design techniques.
  • Support the development of graphics across various product categories including accessories, bags, headwear, socks, and related consumer products.
  • Champion collaboration, inclusivity, and constructive feedback throughout the creative process.

Apparel Graphic Designer Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Apparel Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience within apparel, accessories, consumer products, or related industries.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, typography, concept development, mood boards, prints, patterns, and refined graphic execution.
  • Experience creating technical graphic packages, schematics, and production-ready artwork for manufacturing partners.
  • Strong understanding of design principles including typography, color theory, composition, illustration, and layout.
  • Ability to transform consumer insights, market trends, and cultural influences into compelling creative solutions.
  • Experience managing projects through the full product creation lifecycle from concept through production.
  • Exceptional visual communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative rationale to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications required.
  • Experience with CLO 3D or similar digital product creation tools preferred.
  • Strong illustration skills and an understanding of current and emerging visual culture trends highly desired.
  • Experience designing for accessories, bags, headwear, socks, or related product categories is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a positive, team-oriented approach and openness to feedback.
  • Passion for design, innovation, and creating meaningful consumer experiences through compelling visual storytelling.

Compensation: Up to $44/hr. (DOE)
