Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead workplace safety, environmental compliance, and risk management initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on leader who excels at building relationships, influencing positive behaviors, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This individual will bring strong regulatory knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational support.

This role is on-site in McMinnville, Oregon.

Environmental Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve site-wide environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable workplace safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee environmental initiatives involving waste management, wastewater, stormwater, air emissions, and hazardous materials.
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations while driving effective corrective actions.
• Develop employee training, strengthen safety awareness, and partner with leadership to promote a proactive EHS culture.

Environmental Health & Safety Manager Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and safety management practices.
• Experience with hazard assessments, incident investigations, and manufacturing safety programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, with professional EHS certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM considered a plus.
