Facilities Technician
Our client is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the equipment and building systems that keep their facility running smoothly. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, supporting safe operations, and keeping systems compliant with manufacturer and industry standards.

This role is on-site in Lewiston, Idaho.

Facilities Technician Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication to keep equipment and building systems operating properly.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues to reduce downtime and maintain optimal performance.
• Install and upgrade equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and applicable industry standards.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of maintenance work, including work orders, schedules, and equipment histories.
• Coordinate with fellow technicians, supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities run smoothly.
• Follow established safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Stay current on industry trends, manufacturer guidance, and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.

Facilities Technician Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field, with solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability, including familiarity with CMMS software and related tools.
• Experience maintaining and monitoring Building Management Systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Suite, and facilities management platforms such as Famis 360, FM:Systems, or Planon.
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies that support productivity and decision-making in a professional setting is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and to climb ladders, stairs, or work at heights as needed.

Compensation: $25-$30/hr. (DOE)
