Salesforce Developer
Our client is seeking a Salesforce Developer to build and enhance scalable solutions that support evolving business needs across an enterprise Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development expertise with thoughtful problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and business teams.
This role is fully remote working PST hours.
Salesforce Developer Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications, enhancements, and automated solutions that improve business processes and platform performance.
- Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
- Partner with business analysts, Salesforce administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce components including custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, reports, dashboards, security settings, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, integration challenges, performance concerns, and data integrity issues while supporting overall system reliability and security.
- Participate in code reviews, release planning, deployments, environment management, and source control while following established development and governance standards.
- Create unit tests, maintain appropriate code coverage, and document technical designs, configurations, and development processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, platform scalability, maintainability, and overall technical quality while reducing technical debt.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, platform capabilities, development standards, and emerging technologies.
Salesforce Developer Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, ideally within a complex or enterprise-scale environment.
- Strong development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience developing Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft or similar integration technologies.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including the platform’s security model, sharing rules, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
- Experience with Git or other source control tools and familiarity with CI/CD, release management, and modern Salesforce deployment practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is preferred; Platform Developer II certification is a plus.
- Experience with Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, Azure DevOps, or additional Salesforce products and development tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills with a focus on delivering reliable, maintainable solutions.
Salary: $92K-$110K/year. (DOE)
