Business Analyst
Our client is seeking an analytical and collaborative Business Analyst to support a complex enterprise systems integration initiative. This individual will serve as a key connection between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into clear requirements and helping ensure data and processes are accurately carried across systems. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who is comfortable navigating complex data, partnering with subject matter experts, and proactively communicating risks and project needs.

This role is fully remote.

Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for large-scale software integration initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, end users, and technical teams to translate operational needs into actionable system requirements.
• Analyze data movement between systems, including field mappings, transformations, dependencies, and integration requirements.
• Define and document business rules for data conversion, cleansing, validation, and transformation to support accurate system integration.
• Develop process maps, use cases, workflows, and other documentation to clearly communicate current and future-state requirements.
• Research complex business or system questions, working with appropriate stakeholders to identify practical solutions and resolve gaps.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and communicate them proactively to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide consistent updates and maintain clear communication across business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Business Analyst Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis experience supporting large-scale enterprise software implementations or systems integration projects.
• Experience within the workers’ compensation domain, with an understanding of related business processes, data, and operational requirements.
• Strong experience defining business requirements, integration requirements, process flows, use cases, and supporting documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze system-to-system data exchanges, perform data mapping, and define data transformation and cleansing rules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex requirements and collaborate with subject matter experts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience working across business, technical, and project stakeholder groups.
• Experience with Filevine solutions and/or relevant legacy workers’ compensation systems is preferred.
