Technical Recruiter
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to drive full-cycle hiring efforts across multiple business functions and geographic regions. This individual will serve as a trusted talent advisor, combining strategic sourcing expertise with strong relationship management skills to identify and attract high-caliber technical talent before demand arises. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at engaging passive candidates, and uses data, technology, and market insights to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes and candidate experiences.

This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon, Fort Mill, South Carolina, or Detroit, Michigan.

Technical Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for a variety of technical and operational roles, managing the process from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs, provide market intelligence, and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Proactively source and build pipelines of qualified talent using LinkedIn, networking, referrals, databases, and other innovative sourcing methods.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess experience, technical alignment, and overall fit for business needs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive and transparent experience.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, and recruiting metrics to monitor hiring progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements.
  • Manage and maintain recruiting documentation and candidate records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Educate prospective candidates on career opportunities, organizational culture, benefits, and growth potential.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to prioritize requisitions and adjust recruiting strategies based on changing business demands.
  • Support hiring initiatives across various regions and customer groups, adapting schedules and priorities as needed.

Technical Recruiter Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong emphasis on sourcing and talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for technical environments, including engineering, manufacturing, operations, software, or related disciplines.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and passive candidate engagement.
  • Experience using Workday or comparable applicant tracking systems to manage recruiting workflows and leverage hiring metrics.
  • Strong partnership skills with a track record of influencing hiring managers and serving as a trusted recruiting advisor.
  • Proficiency utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify and engage qualified candidates.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies, to improve efficiency and optimize recruiting activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a high-volume environment.
  • Sound understanding of employment practices, recruiting principles, and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating commitment and consistent performance, excluding project-based contract assignments.

Compensation: $40-$48/hr. (DOE)
