JDE Analyst
Our client is seeking a JDE Analyst with deep JD Edwards expertise and a strong systems-oriented mindset to support enterprise ERP initiatives and ongoing financial systems operations. This role is ideal for someone who operates at the intersection of Finance and IT, bringing hands-on technical knowledge of JDE along with the ability to drive system solutions, not just participate in them. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically fluent, and capable of owning complex system challenges within a global environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Oregon, Washington, Ohio, or Georgia.

JDE Analyst Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for JD Edwards, owning system functionality, configuration support, and ongoing optimization efforts.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT to translate complex business requirements into scalable, system-driven solutions within the ERP environment.
• Lead system-related initiatives including implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, with a strong focus on technical execution.
• Drive and support testing efforts across unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, ensuring accuracy, performance, and deployment readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues at a root-cause level, including transaction errors, data integrity concerns, and process breakdowns.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system enhancements to improve financial operations and reporting.

JDE Analyst Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a finance systems, ERP analyst, or similar role with direct ownership of system functionality.
• Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards (9.1, 9.2, or XE), including configuration, troubleshooting, and system support beyond end-user participation.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge Finance and IT, with a deeper emphasis on system logic, data flows, and technical problem-solving.
• Proven experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements with meaningful system-level involvement.
• Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system and process issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across global teams and technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Experience with JDE modules such as Financials, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Order Management.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Exposure to integrations, reporting tools, or data management within ERP ecosystems.
• CPA, MBA, or other advanced certifications related to Finance or Systems.

Salary: $90-$105K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
