International Tax Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled International Tax Manager who thrives as a technical expert and trusted resource within a collaborative tax team. The ideal candidate brings deep international tax knowledge, sharp analytical ability, and the confidence to independently navigate complex global tax matters. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the “go-to” problem solver, driving accuracy, insight, and process improvement across a global tax function.
This role is onsite in Dallas, Texas or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
International Tax Manager Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and review of international tax provision components, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC, and related ASC 740 calculations.
- Manage U.S. international tax filings (5471s, 1118, FBAR) and coordinate statutory filings with foreign controllers and advisors.
- Oversee tax accounting reconciliations such as valuation allowances, NOLs, deferred taxes, and FIN 18 analysis.
- Monitor global transfer pricing policies, BEPS-related requirements, and legislative changes impacting the tax structure.
- Partner with senior leadership to enhance tax processes and support special projects requiring technical expertise.
International Tax Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or Master of Taxation preferred.
- 5+ years of international tax experience within Big 4, large regional CPA firm, or corporate tax department.
- Strong technical understanding of ASC 740, global tax reporting, and international tax concepts (Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, etc.).
- Proficiency with C-Corp provision and tax compliance software; Corptax preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and fluency with Outlook/Teams; proven ability to serve as a technical resource without direct supervisory duties.
Salary: Up to $150k/year + Bonus. (Depending on Experience and Applicant Location)
