Warranty Data Administration Analyst
Our client is seeking a Warranty Data Administration Analyst to support warranty operations through a combination of data analysis, claims administration, and cross-functional collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys solving problems, uncovering trends in data, and applying analytical thinking to improve business processes within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Detroit, Michigan.

Warranty Data Administration Analyst Responsibilities

  • Process and review warranty claims while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Analyze warranty and operational data to identify trends, measure business performance, and develop reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, quality, suppliers, and repair partners to investigate technical warranty concerns, resolve claim issues, and improve diagnostic accuracy.
  • Assist with technical evaluations, failure investigations, testing activities, and documentation related to mechanical components and warranty processes.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, evaluation procedures, and supporting materials for warranty analysis and claim reviews.
  • Utilize modern analytics platforms and visualization tools to present complex information through dashboards, charts, and other user-friendly reporting formats.
  • Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings, provide analytical support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support projects that enhance operational efficiency and warranty performance.

Warranty Data Administration Analyst Qualifications

  • Experience with Tableau and the ability to build or interpret data visualizations and reports.
  • Familiarity with modern analytics platforms such as Power BI, Snowflake, or comparable business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple teams and contribute to process improvements.
  • Interest in mechanical systems, engines, manufacturing, or related technical disciplines; hands-on mechanical projects, coursework, or hobbies are valued.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant internships, academic projects, or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Entry-level candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate analytical aptitude, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
