UI Developer
Our client is seeking a highly experienced UI Engineer to help lead and evolve a modern SaaS user interface supporting a large-scale, API-driven platform. This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who takes long-term ownership of their work, is comfortable navigating existing codebases (including technical debt), and enjoys partnering closely with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver durable, high-quality solutions.

This role is fully remote.

UI Developer Responsibilities

• Own UI code end-to-end, including enhancements, refactors, maintenance, and long-term improvements, not just net-new development.
• Design, implement, and evolve complex UI features using Vue.js while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making, with a focus on sustainable patterns and thoughtful tradeoffs.
• Translate complex business and product requirements into clear, well-structured technical solutions.
• Partner with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences.
• Produce clear technical documentation, including design notes, implementation details, and testing considerations.
• Participate in story definition, acceptance criteria development, QA collaboration, and end-to-end testing efforts.
• Help guide UI standards, best practices, and consistency across the application.

UI Developer Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional front-end or UI engineering experience, with at preferably 5 years operating in a senior or lead-level capacity.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Vue.js in production environments (Vue experience is required).
• Proven experience owning and maintaining mature codebases, including working effectively with existing technical debt.
• Background working across multiple modern UI frameworks, such as React or similar, in real-world production systems.
• Experience working within Agile development environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and experience levels.
• Demonstrated ability to commit to and thrive in longer-term engagements, with a mindset toward stability, impact, and continuous improvement.

Preferred:

• Experience building or integrating backend APIs.
• Familiarity with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Exposure to full-stack development and end-to-end system design.

Salary: $130K/year. (DOE)
