Staff Accountant
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant who is eager to learn, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and driven to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance. This role is on-site in Portland, Oregon.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Support core accounting operations including invoicing, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, performance metrics, and daily profit and loss calculations.
• Reconcile accounts, trading activity, and financial discrepancies while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, risk, and operations teams to support reporting and process improvements.

Staff Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Early career experience or internship exposure in accounting, finance, or related functions.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and support reporting needs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar) and willingness to learn new tools quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt, learn quickly, and communicate effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Compensation: $90K-$110K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
