Senior Accountant (Part-Time)
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Part-Time) to support complex accounting operations within a multi-entity environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who excels at reviewing financial data, ensuring accuracy across multiple systems, and providing oversight to accounting processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience working with property or construction-related financial operations.

This role is a hybrid model in Vancouver, Washington.

Senior Accountant (Part-Time) Responsibilities

• Review and validate accounting work completed by staff-level accounting and accounts payable team members.
• Ensure trial balances, journal entries, and supporting schedules are accurate and properly recorded in the general ledger.
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts and supporting workbooks to confirm financial accuracy.
• Prepare and review monthly accruals, expense allocations, and property tax-related accounting activities.
• Monitor intercompany activity across multiple entities to ensure balance sheet accuracy and proper financial reporting.

Senior Accountant (Part-Time) Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, including experience at the Senior Accountant level.
• Experience supporting accounting functions within real estate, construction, or related industries.
• Proficiency using Yardi to review financial data, pull reports, and validate general ledger activity.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit support processes.
• Experience working in multi-entity accounting environments with high transaction volumes.

Compensation: $30-$40/hr. (DOE)
