Records Management Assistant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly discreet professional to support the accurate management of sensitive health records in a regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating respectfully with clinical and administrative stakeholders. This role requires strong judgment, precision, and a commitment to data integrity and confidentiality.
This role is onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.
Records Management Assistant Responsibilities
- Accurately collect, verify, and enter sensitive health data in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance when handling patient and family information
- Monitor records to ensure timely completion, release, and submission within required deadlines
- Prepare and manage routine reports to support internal and regulatory requirements
- Track productivity metrics and maintain organized documentation to support workload planning
Records Management Assistant Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or healthcare-related experience preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in health information management, records administration, or similar settings
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and efficient typing ability
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health record systems
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
