Payroll Specialist
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist available for immediate hire. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organization supporting a high-volume workforce.
This role is on-site in Portland, Oregon.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities
- Handle weekly/bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees.
- Enter payroll/timecard information into system and manage PTO requests/accruals.
- Calculate deductions, garnishments, and adjustments ensuring accuracy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll taxes.
- Ad-hoc payroll reporting and year-end support (tax filing, W2s, etc.).
Payroll Specialist Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume multi-state payroll experience.
- ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Exposure to hourly and salaried payroll processing preferred.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary: $65k-75k DOE
