Open Enrollment Administrative Clerk
Our client is seeking an Open Enrollment Administrative Clerk to provide essential administrative and customer support during a high-volume enrollment season. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers excellent customer service over the phone, and can effectively balance multiple priorities while working remotely.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho. PST working hours are required.
Open Enrollment Administrative Clerk Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls from customers, providing courteous and professional service while addressing questions and routing inquiries appropriately.
- Perform accurate data entry, document processing, and other administrative tasks to support open enrollment operations.
- Prepare and distribute electronic correspondence and customer mailings in a timely manner.
- Receive, track, and distribute incoming inquiries while maintaining organized records and documentation.
- Support the team with additional clerical duties, including overtime and weekend work when business needs require.
Open Enrollment Administrative Clerk Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least six months of general office, clerical, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related training.
- Strong customer service and telephone communication skills with the ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls professionally.
- Accurate keyboarding skills (minimum 30 WPM with 95% accuracy), 10-key proficiency, and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, multitask, follow instructions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members across multiple departments.
- Ability to maintain a private, quiet, distraction-free home office and remain fully dedicated to assigned work responsibilities during scheduled hours.
- Availability to work consistently throughout the peak open enrollment season, including October through December, with minimal planned time off, as well as overtime and weekend hours when needed.
Compensation: $19-$20/hr. (DOE)
