Maintenance Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who brings strong technical judgment, hands-on problem solving, and a commitment to keeping complex, automated manufacturing environments operating safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems, working with high-speed equipment, and preventing failures before they impact production. The right candidate combines technical expertise with a collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset.
This role is fully onsite in Vancouver, Washington and will work from 3PM-11:30PM.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments on automated production and material-handling equipment.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to improve reliability and equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and temperature-controlled system issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and respond to time-critical equipment failures.
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to process and equipment improvements.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting automated equipment, controls, and temperature-managed systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Background working in safety- and quality-critical operations.
- Technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC disciplines, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Compensation: $27-$33/hr. (DOE)
