HR Generalist
Our client is seeking a versatile HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting a dynamic workforce. This individual will balance hands-on recruiting with payroll and HR operations, while building strong relationships across field and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident navigating shifting priorities and a wide range of personalities.
This role is on-site in Tigard, Oregon.
HR Generalist Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple roles and trades, supporting fluctuating project-based staffing needs.
- Process weekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, documentation, and employee transitions.
- Partner with field leadership and internal stakeholders to align staffing needs with project timelines and workforce demands.
- Support employee relations, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations in a high-touch environment.
HR Generalist Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HR with a strong focus on recruiting and payroll.
- Experience supporting multi-state payroll processes; familiarity with payroll and/or ERP systems is preferred.
- Background in construction, skilled trades, or project-based environments with fluctuating workforce needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in both high-intensity and slower-paced periods.
Salary: $82K-$88K/year. (DOE)
