Endpoint Support Technician
Our client is seeking an experienced Endpoint Support Technician to provide hands-on, on-site IT support focused on endpoint operations and operating system lifecycle initiatives. This role plays a key part in maintaining reliable end-user technology through device support, deployments, inventory management, and responsive ticket resolution in an enterprise environment.

This role is onsite in Sacramento, California.

Endpoint Support Technician Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripheral devices within an enterprise domain.
• Support operating system lifecycle initiatives, including Windows 11 deployments, upgrades, and end-user assistance.
• Perform hardware and software installations, imaging, replacements, and lifecycle refresh activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint hardware, software, and user profile issues in a timely and customer-focused manner.
• Maintain accurate hardware, software, and user inventory records.
• Deliver technical support for conference rooms, meetings, and executive or committee sessions as needed.
• Process, document, and resolve assigned requests through an enterprise ticketing system within defined service expectations.
• Maintain consistent support coverage during standard business hours.
• Travel between local office sites as required to support operational needs.

Endpoint Support Technician Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience providing hands-on technical support in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows 11 and modern Windows operating systems.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting desktops, laptops, and tablets, including user profile support.
• Proven experience with device imaging, deployment, and operating system lifecycle replacement.
• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and diagnosing computer hardware, printers, plotters, and related peripherals in a networked environment.
• Access to a personal vehicle for occasional local travel between office locations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with endpoint support.

Preferred:

• CompTIA or similar technical certification.
• Experience working with ServiceNow or comparable IT service management tools.
• Experience performing software installations and resolving complex software-related issues.

Compensation: $26-$35/hr. (DOE)
