Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology
Our client is seeking a Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology to join their medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and at least one year of experience working in a hospital setting. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures and collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results and excellent patient outcomes.
This role is onsite in Eureka, California.
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with radiologists, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely imaging services.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and their families before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times.
- Participate in department quality control, safety checks, and performance improvement activities.
- Serve as a technical and clinical resource to less experienced technologists and assist in their development as needed.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and be available to travel between locations when required.
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of one year of hospital-based radiologic technologist experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills with a professional and collaborative approach.
Salary: $95K-$120K/year. (DOE)
