Document Processing Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Document Processing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This individual will bring strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while supporting critical document and mail operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working with equipment, processes, and tight turnaround timelines.
This role is fully on-site in Lewiston, Idaho.
Document Processing Specialist Responsibilities
- Process, sort, prepare, and scan incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
- Operate and monitor mailroom and imaging equipment, including scanners, inserters, sorters, and postage systems.
- Verify document integrity and ensure all materials are properly indexed, stored, and accessible within internal systems.
- Support mail operations by receiving, distributing, and preparing shipments while ensuring correct postage and packaging.
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements, including secure handling of sensitive information.
Document Processing Specialist Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of experience in mailroom, document processing, or similar operational environments.
- Basic PC proficiency and ability to follow detailed procedures with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage repetitive tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
- Familiarity with mail processing practices or postal regulations and a demonstrated commitment to reliability and attendance.
Compensation: $16-$17.50/hr. (DOE)
