Clinical Intake Specialist (Remote)

This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, or North Dakota and able to work PST hours.

Clinical Intake Specialist (Remote) Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of receipt for incoming clinical documents, triaging each item and routing it to the correct team and workflow.
• Research incoming documents using the appropriate tools and systems to identify the correct work type.
• Image and organize documentation in accordance with HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Manage high daily volumes of work, prioritizing and distributing it to meet required timeframes and quality standards.
• Provide coverage for urgent or expedited items on long weekends and perform basic administrative duties.

Clinical Intake Specialist (Remote) Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with general office experience, plus 1 year of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with solid data entry, organization, and administrative abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet research.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, along with familiarity with healthcare benefits, systems, and documentation.
• Ability to work in multiple systems at once, adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting, and meet deadlines with limited supervision as part of a team.

Compensation: $20-$22/hr. (DOE)
