Business Operations Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Operations Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects and operational initiatives within a global technology organization. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative, proactive project leader who can drive work from planning through execution, hold stakeholders accountable to commitments, and bring structure and momentum to complex initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Business Operations Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of business operations projects, establishing clear timelines, deliverables, ownership, and priorities while driving work through completion.
- Partner with executives and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that increase operational effectiveness.
- Build strong working relationships across functions such as Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, technology leadership, and other centralized business teams.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively tracking progress, resolving roadblocks, communicating status, and holding stakeholders accountable to agreed-upon milestones and deliverables.
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes that support organizational priorities, scalability, and effective execution across teams.
- Identify project and operational risks, coordinate mitigation strategies, and help maintain continuity as priorities, requirements, or business needs evolve.
- Support business operations and enablement initiatives by providing structure, project governance, stakeholder coordination, and actionable insights that help teams make informed decisions.
Business Operations Project Manager Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in project management, business operations, program management, or a related role, with demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives from initiation through completion.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to establish plans, drive execution, manage competing priorities, and hold cross-functional stakeholders accountable to timelines and deliverables.
- Excellent partnership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working effectively with senior leaders and teams across multiple business functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate business needs and information into practical recommendations and action plans.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, navigate ambiguity, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience supporting a global organization and coordinating operational initiatives across multiple teams, functions, or regions is preferred.
- Experience within a technology or software-focused environment, particularly supporting operational processes related to product or technology delivery, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Airtable and collaboration, productivity, data, or AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft applications, Box, Slack, Databricks, or similar platforms is a plus.
- PMP, Agile, or another relevant project management certification is preferred.
Compensation: Up to $59/hr. (DOE)
