Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to balance team leadership with direct involvement in day-to-day accounting operations. They thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining strong financial controls and clear communication with cross-functional partners.

This role is a hybrid model in Tualatin, Oregon.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general ledger and oversee month-end close, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements, schedules, and variance analyses to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable, corporate expenses, cash transactions, and sales/use tax compliance.
  • Support audits, develop internal controls, and identify process improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, including participation in hiring and development.

Accounting Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years supervising staff.
  • Strong general ledger, journal entry, and reconciliation experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
  • CPA certification or financial statement preparation experience preferred; variance analysis and budget/forecast support a plus.

Salary: $100K-$105K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
