Accounting Controller
Our client is seeking a highly motivated accountant who is eager to build a strong foundation and grow alongside a fast-moving, high-growth start-up organization with strong backing. This individual contributor role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accountant who thrives in a hands-on environment, takes ownership quickly, and is excited by learning through real responsibility. This role is a hybrid model in Redmond, Oregon. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to Central Oregon.

Accounting Controller Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Assist with month-end close activities such as general ledger review, fixed assets, prepaids, inventory, and cash flow tracking.
  • Perform daily banking tasks including reconciliations, payments, and deposits.
  • Contribute to financial analysis, variance reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams on audits, payroll support, and special projects.

Accounting Controller Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • 0–5 years of accounting experience (early-career or recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply). Start-up and/or manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful; exposure to ERP systems and payroll platforms a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information professionally.
  • Self-starter mindset with a positive attitude, strong follow-through, and desire to grow with the role.

Salary: $80K + Bonus.
