  • Assist with the development and ongoing improvement of legal templates, contract playbooks, tools, and scalable processes.
  • Coordinate legal department billing, invoices, budget tracking, and administrative activities, including support for legal technology and vendor evaluations.
  • Conduct legal research under the direction of counsel and provide project, scheduling, and administrative support for legal initiatives and cross-functional requests.

Paralegal Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting legal matters within a corporate legal department, law firm, or similar professional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program.
  • Experience supporting commercial contracts, transactional matters, and contract administration, with a foundational understanding of contracting principles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple concurrent matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar, composition, editing, and legal proofreading abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, business leaders, external counsel, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment, including the ability to recognize when matters require escalation.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive legal and business information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic document or legal matter management systems.
